Not all prophecies have words. Many prophecies in the bible are pictorial. I guess God already knew that some of us learn verbally and others learn through pictures.
32 Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, Moses didn’t give you bread from heaven. My Father
did. And now he offers you the true bread from heaven. 33 The true bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 “Sir,” they said, “give us that bread every day.”
35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
I love the way Jesus makes it so clear in just a few words. “This bread called manna was a picture of me. I give life and fulfilment”
How does this affect the way we see things? I guess however deep we feel we have wandered in the wilderness, however hot the sun on our backs, however few the home comforts seem to be there is one who has come down from heaven to give us sustenance. If we feed on him we will never be hungry for things in this life again. Our appetite will be for heavenly bread and heavenly water.
